An absolutely fantastic trip from start to finish. Khiva felt like stepping back in time, Bukhara was atmospheric and full of character, and Samarkand simply took my breath away — the Registan at sunset is one of the most stunning sights I've ever seen. The night in a yurt in the Kyzylkum desert, with Kazakh songs around the campfire under a sky full of stars, was unforgettable. Staying with families in Ukhum and Hayat villages gave us a real insight into rural Uzbek life — incredibly warm and welcoming people. The trek to the Bronze Age petroglyphs was a highlight too. Our guide spoke excellent English, hotels were comfortable, food was delicious throughout. Highly recommended!
