Karakol

Located at the eastern tip of Issyk-Kul Lake, Karakol is Kyrgyzstan's adventure capital. The Ala-Kul Lake trek (3,532m), Altyn-Arashan hot springs, Jeti-Ögüz 'Seven Bulls' rock formations, the nail-less Dungan Mosque, and winter skiing at Karakol Ski Base make it a four-season destination.
