Bishkek

Central Asia's most relaxed capital, Bishkek is backed by Tian Shan peaks. Ala-Too Square, the massive Osh Bazaar, and Ala Archa National Park (45 minutes away, with glacier views) are top draws. Excellent base for exploring Issyk-Kul Lake and Kyrgyz mountain valleys.
